Reggie found success as a lawyer prior to entering the financial services industry. He is the founder, President and Managing Attorney of the Alabama Center for Elder Law, LLC. Mr. Rhodes has been practicing law in Alabama since 1993 and is a well-known trust and estate planning, retirement planning, elder law, real estate and tax attorney.
Reggie has concentrated his estate and financial practice on helping clients arrange their legal and financial matters to avoid mistakes with their assets and money, to protect their capital from taxes and nursing home confinement, and increase their income. He has also assisted thousands of individuals with their real estate transactions including purchasing, selling and Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges. He is well-known and respected for his handling of all probate matters including the administration of decedent’s estates, guardianships, and conservatorships.
Seeing a need for a more complete client experience, Reggie became a financial advisor and founded Legacy Wealth Management Group, LLC in 2020 to give his clients a more complete financial and legal planning experience under one roof.
Over his career, he has made numerous presentations on estate planning, retirement planning, probate law, real estate and other topics to other attorneys, CPAs, financial planners and law students. Reggie has been a frequent speaker at public seminars and has been recognized by the Alabama State Bar for excellence in continuing education. Reggie leverages highly specialized skills and knowledge to offer his clients the gold standard in financial and retirement planning. His dedication to the principles of integrity, confidentiality, competence and professionalism that are necessary to provide truly client-focused service is second to none and he is proud to assist individuals and their families every day.
Mr. Rhodes received his B.S. degree from Auburn University in Finance in 1987 and has met all requirements to sit for the CPA exam. In 1992, Mr. Rhodes received his Juris Doctorate from Jones School of Law, graduating in the top 10 in his class. He later received his Master’s degree in Tax Law (LL.M.) from the University Of Alabama School Of Law in 2005.

Robin Darden

Robin Darden has been working in trust and estate administration since 2000. She assists in the execution of Legacy Wealth’s client service operations along with trust services, client relations and estate management. In addition, Robin is employed by Reginald A. Rhodes, PC and The Alabama Center for Elder law, LLC as a Paralegal. Prior to joining Legacy Wealth, Robin worked for the Sanibel Captiva Trust Company as Senior Vice President of Client Services and Trust Operations in their Sanibel and Naples Offices in Florida.
Robin has worked as a estate and trust paralegal at Roetzel & Andress in Naples, Florida and as an administrative assistant in estate settlement and trust administration at Northern Trust in their Naples and Bonita Springs, Florida offices. Robin is a graduated magna cum laude from Hodges University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies along with an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies.
